RULES
- This CTE Internship course requires students to demonstrate initiative, follow through, and maintain a high level of professional conduct.
- The course will be graded on a Pass/Fail basis, requiring completion of all assignments and monthly time card submissions.
- The internship program is implemented as if a student were applying for a job.
- A "no show" refers to an intern's absence from work without notifying the employer and mentor at your school.
- A no-show results in the internship being terminated, the student receives an F, and no credit is earned.
- The intern must provide notification of any planned absences at least 24 hours in advance.
- It is the parent/guardian's responsibility to provide transportation to and from the internship site. Students are not allowed to transport one another.

During the first week of school, you will not attend your internship. Instead, you'll attend our orientation class and must complete the following work before you start: -Turn in your LinkedIn Agreement -Learn the rules and guidelines of the course -Build your professional Digital Portfolio on LinkedIn -Email your CTE Internship teacher before you leave orientation to schedule your first check-in Your LinkedIn must be 100% complete before you can start the internship/course Attend the orientation during the times you have the CTE Internship on your school schedule. |
